As a graduating senior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science you are at the end of your undergraduate academic journey and have a bright future ahead. In preparation for your graduation please review the information and resources below to ensure you are on track to graduate and prepared or you next steps post-graduation.

Graduation Pre-Clearance Process

In order to help ensure you are on track to graduate, the Office of Undergraduate Student Services and Advising host Rising Senior Pre-Clearance workshops during the spring of your junior year. At these workshops, we review the next steps in preparing for your senior year and how to complete a graduation audit to review with your Professional Advisor. These meetings are referred to “Graduation Pre-Clearance Meeting”

Graduation Planning

Each spring, the School of Engineering and Applied Science in conjunction with The George Washington University hosts two separate events to celebrate our graduates. The first event is the SEAS Celebration and Graduation Ceremony which recognizes our undergraduate students within the school and the second is the GW Commencement Ceremony recognizing all GW graduates on the National Mall. Applying to Graduate

Degree-seeking students in all programs except Law should apply for graduation via the online graduation application in GWeb no later than the deadlines listed below. Please refer to the online application instructions for step-by-step assistance completing your application.
