Minors

The Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering offers four minors. Any GW students who want a technical concentration in systems engineering, operations research, data analytics for decisions, or engineering management without majoring in it may opt for a minor.

Minor in Systems Engineering

The systems engineering minor will be a suitable choice for students in other engineering fields who are interested in acquiring knowledge in topics such as project management, engineering economics, requirements analysis, risk management, and contemporary system life cycle analysis methods.

Please visit the GW Bulletin to see the requirements necessary to fulfill the minor.

Minor in Operations Research

The operations research minor will be a good complement for students in other engineering fields who are interested in deepening their knowledge in the theory and applications of system simulation and optimization.

Please visit the GW Bulletin to see the requirements necessary to fulfill the minor.

Minor in Data Analytics for Decisions

The data analytics for decisions minor will be a good complement for students in other engineering fields who are interested in acquiring and/or deepening their knowledge in data analytics and its connection to decision-making.

Please visit the GW Bulletin to see the requirements necessary to fulfill the minor.
